Preaching and Teaching Missions

The church’s primary purpose is to proclaim the gospel—the word of the cross—the power of God for salvation. Our desire is for the saving of the lost, the refreshing of God’s people, and the renewing of our community in Christ.

NCTM helps to lead preaching and teaching missions in local churches and Christian communities, conducted by teams of evangelists, pastors and teachers, with musicians and other helpers. Subject to the Spirit of God, we come where there is an invitation and a welcome from a local support base. We work with and encourage local ministries of the word and worship, and we look to extend churches beyond what they might normally do. Where possible, we prefer to work with a number of churches in an area, across the denominations, or where a particularchurch is seeking to break new ground. The theme for the mission is chosen in consultation with the local church from a broad range of possibilities.

Two weeks: a week of house meetings followed by a week of community meetings

One week: combination of smaller groups and larger meetings

Weekend: Friday night and/or Saturday and Sunday morning, afternoon and/or evening (For places closer to Adelaide)

Series of Sundays and/or series of weekdays/nights

Make contact to have a conversation with us about a possible preaching and teaching mission in your locality.
